  • Football Career

    Prior to playing in the NFL, Castille played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide in the NCAA. He specialized in short-yardage situations, recording 155 carries for 524 yards and 59 receptions for 363 yards to total 20 touchdowns. After college, Castille went undrafted.

    Castille signed as a free agent with the Arizona Cardinals on April 30, 2007. After sitting out for the entire 2007 season, he made his professional debut in 2008, playing in 14 games. Castille recorded just four receptions for 11 yards and did not see any rushing action. Backing up fullback Terrelle Smith, Castille helped the Cardinals reach Super Bowl XLIII.
