Tie Me Up Tie Me Down is a 1990 Spanish dark comedy. Antonio Banderas stars as Ricky, an escaped mental patient determined to make Marina (Victoria Abril), a porn actress he once spent the night with, fall in love with him. Ricky tracks down Marina and holds her captive until she experiences Stockholm Syndrome, developing feelings for her captor. The film by Pedro Almodovar caused public outcry and received an NC-17 rating for its subject matter and explicit sex scenes.
