Thurston Moore is a member of Sonic Youth and founder of the Ecstatic Peace record label. As a guitarist and singer for the band, Moore has been a driving force behind the rise of Sonic Youth and the creation of its part punk rock, part avant-garde sound. Moore is married to the bassist of Sonic Youth, Kim Gordon, and the pair have two children.
