A statue of former Buffalo Bills running back Thurman Thomas was stolen from outside Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. According to authorities the statue, which features a likeness of Thomas carved into a fallen pine tree, was taken sometime after it was unveiled on Sunday, October 11, 2009. Stealing the statue would not have been an easy feat: it stands 8 1/2 feet tall and weighs up to 2,000 pounds.http://www.buffalonews.com/258/story/825773.html?imw=Y
