Thrush is a fungal infection that occurs in the mouth or on the genitals. The culprit is the Candida fungus. It naturally occurs on the human body but begins to multiply excessively during infection. Usually this excessive growth would be limited by the body's natural pH balance or by fought off by the immune system. Symptoms
