Thriller 25 Michael Jackson Album

-->
  • Thriller 25 is, as the title suggests, the 25th anniversary release of Michael Jackson's Thriller, which, according to the Guinness Book of World Records, remains the biggest selling album of all time. Thriller 25 featured the original album, and five extra tracks remixed or re-done by Akon, will.i.am, Kanye West and Fergie.

    Upon its release, critics praised the original content, but some claimed the remixes did not do the original material justice. Akon's mix of "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'," however, was prominently played on radio in promotion of the album.

    Thriller 25 was also packaged with a DVD of Jackson's music videos from the album, including his celebrated Motown 25 performance of "Billie Jean (where he first Moonwalked), and the celebrated video of the title track directed by John Landis.
