Chevy Chase, Steve Martin and Martin Short star as three film stars challenged to become real-life heroes in the comedic western spoof Three Amigos.
Plot Summary
The careers of silent western film stars Dusty Bottoms (Chevy Chase), Lucky Day (Steve Martin) and Ned Nederlander (Martin Short) have waned, so they jump at the opportunity when a young woman named Carmen offers them a job in her Mexican village. However, they believe that they have been hired to perform, while Carmen, after seeing their films, believes that they are actual heroes who can save her town from the bandits who are terrorizing the citizens. The Three Amigos soon realize that they are in over their heads, but opt to stay and do what they can to help the town.Cast
