  • Hockey Career

    Pock began his career playing in the Austrian Hockey League for the Klagenfurt AC in 1998. He came to the United States in 2000 to play college hockey with the University of Massachusetts Minutemen in 2000. While in college, Pock represented Austria in the 2002 Winter Olympics. In 2004, Pock signed as a free agent with the New York Rangers. He made his NHL debut that year, playing in six games before he was reassigned to the Rangers American Hockey League affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack. He continued to split his time between the NHL and the AHL, playing a career high 44 games with the Rangers in the 2006-07 season. After playing just a single game with the Rangers in 2007-08, Pock was waived after the season and picked up by the New York Islanders on September 29, 2008.
