Thomas Morphey is the stepbrother of former Bolingbrook, Illinois police officer Drew Peterson. Peterson's wife, Stacy Peterson went missing in October 2007 and Peterson is suspected of having killed her, as well as his third wife, Kathleen Savio whose 2004 drowning death was ruled a homicide.Fox News: Stepbrother Says He Thinks He Helped... In March 2009, Morphey told police investigators that he's afraid he may have helped Peterson dispose of his wife Stacy's body. During a 2007 conversation with Peterson Morphey says Peterson told him that his wife had been seeing another man and asked if he would kill for him.
