• Thomas Jones is a starting running back for the New York Jets.

  On December 30, 2008, Thomas Jones criticized the Jets coaching staff and Brett Favre on a New York radio station. Jones felt that Favre shouldn't have been playing in the final weeks of the 2008 season. Favre threw nine interceptions in the final five games and failed to reach the playoffs. Jones stated, "If somebody is not playing well, they need to come out of the game. You're jeopardizing the whole team because you're having a bad day. To me, that's not fair to everybody else.
