Thomas Gibson

American actor Thomas Gibson stars in the CBS procedural drama Criminal Minds. Before he played the well-read criminal profiler Aaron Hotchner.

Before Minds Gibson broke onto the scene as Doctor Daniel Nyland on the CBS medical drama Chicago Hope which also paired him with Mandy Patinkin who he would later reconnect with on Criminal Minds (even though Patinkin would later leave both shows).

After Chicago Hope Gibson became a house hold name in the ABC sitcom Dharma and Greg where he played Greg Montgomery. Montgomery was the husband and foil to his wife Dharma's free spirited personality.
