June 19th, 2009: Sean Spector
Sadly, Sean Spector was sick and could not sit in on the show this week. Sean was scheduled to appear on Friday June 19th, 2009. A special edition of TWiST took place in Sean's absence where Jason accepted calls in an extended "Ask Jason" segment.Sean Spector is the Co-Founder and VP of Business Development and Marketing of GameFly. Sequoia Capital touts GameFly as "the smartest way to rent, play and buy video games." Commonly referred to as the NetFlix of game rentals, Sean Spector has played a major role in developing a successful company and will hopefully share some of his valuable experience with burgeoning entrepreneurs. About the Host
Jason Calacanis is the CEO of the website human powered search engine Mahalo. He previously founded Silicon Alley Reporter and blog network Weblogs, inc. The latter was eventually sold to AOL. After the sale in 2006, Calacanis become the General Manager of Netscape. He later became an Entrepreneur in Action at Sequoia Capital and launched Mahalo in 2007.
