  • Synopsis

    This is Your Life surprised people with an on-air narrative of their life story. Ralph Edwards was joined by friends and relatives who would share memories and anecdotes about the person whose story was being told. The subject of the episode could be an average citizen, a public figure or a celebrity.     This is Your Life was created and hosted by Ralph Edwards. Edwards was born June 13, 1913 in Merino, Colorado and passed away November 16, 2005. He was also responsible for creating the game show Truth or Consequences, which aired for 38 years.

    Mark Burnett, who has been responsible for shows such as Survivor and The Apprentice, is in the process of reviving This is Your Life. This is not the first time that a comeback has been attempted; Regis Philbin was involved in an attempt to remake the show in 2005.
