They Live

They Live is a 1988 horror film by John Carpenter. Roddy Piper stars as a drifter who discovers alien creatures are disguising themselves as humans and are controlling the human race through subliminal advertising messages. • In December 2008, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Universal Pictures and Strike Entertainment are negotiating with Les Mougins for the film rights to develop a They Live remake.
