- In December 2008, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Universal Pictures and Strike Entertainment are negotiating with Les Mougins for the film rights to develop a They Live remake. If the negotiations are successful, Strike Entertainment's Marc Abraham and Eric Newman will produce and Shep Gordon (Les Mougins) and John Carpenter will be executive producers.THR: They Live to be Reincarnated (December 4, 2008)
