There Will Be Blood stars Daniel Day-Lewis as a turn-of-the-century silver prospector who procures the oil rights to a family's ranch and strikes it rich. He turns the small California town of Little Boston into a boomtown, but ultimately comes to blows with a young, charismatic preacher.
