The Wiggles are an Australian band that focuses on children's entertainment. They became successful with their music which lead to a television show on The Disney Channel, and the production of DVDs, CDs, toys and a large variety of products. While DVDs and CDs are the largest segment of The Wiggles merchandise sold, they also make Wiggles-themed clothes, dinnerware, bedding, and toys.

The Concept The Wiggles came into being because several of the members of the band were going to school to be pre-school teachers. As an assignment, they created a video that incorporated music and movement to help students learn educational concepts. Before playing huge venues for thousands of fans and their parents, The Wiggles actually performed in pre-schools in Australia. They were discovered by Disney and Lyric Studios in 1998 and have been a pre-school phenomenon ever since.
