• The Wedding Date is a romantic comedy film about Kat (Debra Messing), a woman who finds out that her former fiance will be the best man at her sister's wedding (that she is the made of honor of). Kat hires an escort named Nick (played by Dermot Mulroney) to pose as her boyfriend so that she can make her former bethrothed mad with jealousy. The situation and Kat start to unravel when Nick does his job too perfectly and makes everyone and Kat fall in love with him.
