  • New York City-based indie rock band the Walkmen's debut album, Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me Is Gone, included the hit song "We've Been Had" and made many music critics' year-end best-of lists. Their second release, Bows + Arrows, spawned the well-received single "The Rat" and featured two other tracks chosen for the soundtrack to FOX's hugely popular prime-time melodrama The O.C.
  • An Ambitious Bunch

    2006 saw the release of two Walkmen albums: A Hundred Miles Off, and a near-exact re-recording of the ill-fated 1974 album Pussy Cats by Harry Nilsson and produced by John Lennon.
