The creator and writer of the comic book is Robert Kirkman. Additionally to the Walking Dead comic series, he's also worked on Invincible and Marvel Comics' Marvel Zombies miniseries. Together with Tony Moore, an artist, Kirkman began The Walking Dead in 2003. Charlie Adlard became head artist for the comic and has worked on it since issue #7. The plot of The Walking Dead runs closely along with chaos. The characters find themselves amongst a zombie apocalypse and must fight to survive. An epidemic spread across the world, causing the dead to rise from the grave and eat and feed on all those who live.
