The Three Tenors

The Three Tenors is the name given to a trio of opera singers who performed together during the 1990s and early 2000s: Plácido Domingo, José Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti.

Career

The Three Tenors banded together after a successful benefit concert (for Jose Carreras' Leukemia foundation) at the Baths of Caracalla. Their collaboration was so successful that they decided to work together on future projects. They completed several sold out world tours and released the Guinness World Record breaking CD The Three Tenors in Concert.
