  • Plot Summary

    Nick Charles, a retired detective, along with his wealthy wife, Nora, go to New York City to celebrate Christmas and end up solving a murder. Dorothy Wynant asks for Nick's help to locate her missing father, the inventor Clyde Wynant. When Wyant's secretary is murdered he becomes the chief suspect. Nick, Nora and their intrepid dog Asta investigate to discover the truth.
