The Thermals are a politically-minded Punk Rock band from Portland, OR made up of lead-singer and Guitar player Hutch Harris and Bass player Kathy Foster. After releasing their Low-fi, self-recorded debut album More Parts Per Million in 2003 on Sub Pop Records, the band became an underground sensation in the Indie Rock community. 2004's [[F*ckin A]] and 2006's The Body, The Blood, The Machine made them critical favorites and helped increase their stature among music critics and fans. While Hutch and Kathy remain the two sole members, drummer Lorin Coleman recently quit the band in order to spend more time playing with his other band.
