Tarahumara is an Indian Tribe in Northern Mexico, in remote areas of the Copper Canyon region. The name, Tarahumara, came from their ability o run long distnaces..During the 17th and 18th century, Spanish farmers bought land from Tarahumara people in exchange of soap, blanket etc.They were forced to work for the Spaniards. So some of the indigenous people run away to to protect themselves in the mountains.They lived in wooden houses, or caves or under the cliff overhangs. They speak Tarahumara language and Spanish
