• The String Cheese Incident are a Jam band based in Boulder, CO. The group was formed in 1993 as house band for ski resorts, playing in exchange for lift tickets rather than money. The String Cheese Incident own and run their own label, SCI Fidelity. In August 2003 the band sued Ticketmaster for violation of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act.

  Since splitting up in 2007, the String Cheese Incident had not announced plans for a reunion. However, in March 2009, the band was unexpectedly listed on the roster of Michigan's 4th of July Rothbury Festival.Lalate.com: String Cheese Incident Reunion! • Ticketmaster Lawsuit
