Career
The Stooges began as a harder-edged answer to the psychedelic rock movement of the Summer of Love and came to be regarded as a precursor to the early punk rock that emerged in New York City. A revived Stooges featuring Minutemen bassist Mike Watt continues to tour and record in the new century.
