  • The Star Wars Holiday Special is two hour television special that aired just one time, in 1978, on CBS. Han Solo and Chewbacca travel to Chewbacca's home planet, Kashyyyk, to spend the annual Life Day celebration with Chewie's family.

    Meanwhile, Darth Vader's Imperial Stormtroopers are raiding the local cantinas and destroying homes in traditional Star Wars behavior but rather than the iconic aliens found in the catina in Star Wars, this television special features Bea Arthur (Golden Girls singing a tune in the bar.
