The trailer for the dramatic film The Soloist was released in September 2008. Based on a true story, the movie stars Robert Downey Jr. as Los Angeles Times columnist Steve Lopez, who encounters a schizophrenic musician on the streets. The musician, Nathaniel Ayers (played by Jamie Foxx), was a prodigy of classical music and studied at Julliard.
