- Sober House will feature counselor Bob Forrest and program assistant, William Smith from Celebrity Rehab
- Cast members will also be joined by resident "house mother", actress Jennifer Gimenez
- Dr. Drew is a board certified addictionologist
- He is also the Service Director of the Chemical Dependency Program/Residential Treatment Center at Las Encinas Hospital in California
- Dr. Drew is on staff at Huntington Memorial Hospital
- He is also Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Keck USC School of Medicine
- In addition, Dr. Drew continues to run a private practice
- Dr. Drew is well-known for his radio and television show Loveline

Celebrity Rehab Presents Sober House is a eight-episode series on VH1 which premiered in January 2009. Sober House takes the cast members from season two of Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew and gives them the opportunity to live in a sober house for three months while they transition from rehab to everyday life. Several cast members from season one of Celebrity Rehab joined the cast of Sober House.
