The Small Faces

The Small Faces came on when the British Invasion was heating up on both sides of the Atlantic, but other than the hit "Itchycoo Park," the band only made a lasting impact in their homeland.

It barely cracked the Billboard Top 200 in America, but the Small faces' final album Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake spent six weeks at the top of the charts in England and is considered a psychedelic classic.

In 1969, Steve Marriott quit by walking off stage during a live New Year's Eve performance. He went on to form Humble Pie with Peter Frampton later that year.
