Origin
The Savage Dragon chronicles the adventures of a Chicago police officer named Kurr. His green reptilian appearance earned him the nickname "Dragon" amongst his fellow officers.Kurr, an amnesiac, was once the evil emperor of an alien race. Kurr chose Earth for his people to settle on after spending centuries searching for a new home planet. Though he originally intended for his species to peacefully coexist with humans, he vowed instead to eliminate all creatures on Earth.
Kurr's people turned against him. They erased his memory, and sent him to Earth alone with only bits of recent American television programming to remember. Kurr's race went on without him.
