• The Sarah Silverman Program is a Comedy Central television series starring comedian Sarah Silverman.

  In 2009, Silverman, and producers Dan Sterlin and Rob Schrab threatened to leave the program after Comedy Central requested the show cut their budget by 20 percent.Reuters: Rebellion on Sarah Silverman Set (March 2, 2009) Ultimately, the network Logo, part of Silverman's production costs. In return they will air the episodes of the third season as soon as show airs on Comedy Central.

• Plot

  The show follows "Sarah's" daily life and her relationship with her sister Laura and neighbors Brian and Steve, all of whom live in Valley Village, California. Sarah is grossly self-absorbed and rains down chaos on everyone around here. Her absurd adventures are interspersed with comic songs and an epilogue in which Sarah explains the episode's events to her dog Doug.
