Plot Summary
The Rocker tells the tale of Robert Fishman, played by Rainn Wilson. Fishman was a failed, former drummer of a successful '80s rock band. For the past several years, Fishman has been living with regret and disappointment in not sharing the fame and success that followed his former band mates after his dismissal. Then one day, Fishman is asked to join his nephew's high school band. The opportunity provides Fishman with a chance to redeem himself in the music industry and with his peers. The gig also gives him a chance at a potential relationship with one of the band member's mother, played by Christina Applegate.Cast
