Soundtrack
The soundtrack for The Road was written by musicians Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, known for their work in the rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. The duo have previously collaborated on music for Western films - the previous Hillcoat movie, The Proposition and the Brad Pitt vehicle, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.
