The Real World is a reality program that places complete strangers in a house and films their interaction over a period of months. The show is known for touching on taboo subjects and sparking heated debate amongst its participants.

Highlights of the twenty-one seasons include a house mate's battle with AIDS, a wedding, several fights, an abortion, and multiple contestants battling alcoholism.
