The Principality of Sealand is a tiny country on HM Fort Roughs, which was a fort in World War II. It is located in the North Sea, roughly six miles away from Suffolk, England.
The old fort has been inhabited by radio personality British Army Major Paddy Roy Bates, along with friends and family, since 1967.
