The Prestige is a 2006 film directed by Christopher Nolan and based on the 1995 book of the same name by Christopher Priest. It stars Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Scarlett Johansson, and David Bowie. In the film magicians Robert Angier and Alfred Borden are engaged in a rivalry where each tries to come up with an illusion that outshines the opponent's previous act.
