The Posies are an alternative rock band from Bellingham, Washington.
Career
The Posies formed in 1988 by songwriting partners Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow. Their major label debut, Dear 23, featured their breakthrough single, "Golden Blunders".
There have been a number of lineup changes within the band since forming in 1988 but Auer and Stringfellow have remained as the core members.
