The Pierces are an American musical duo made up of sisters Allison Pierce and Catherine Pierce. They released their self titled debut album in 2000, filled with music best described as harmony filled folk rock. They released their self-title debut album in 2000, while they were still attending Auburn University. Their second album, released in 2005, featured 11 tracks that either the girls wrote or co-wrote. Their third album, Thirteen Tales of Love and Revenge, was released in 2007, and received warm reviews. It has a darker, edgier side then their previous albums.
Their single "Boring" is a parody of celebrity socialites. Their other singles are "Lights On," "A Way to Us," "Three Wishes" and "Secret."
