Plot Synopsis
A complex tale of deceit and machination woven by the Boleyn family and their desire for power and status. Mary Boleyn arrives to the British court as an innocent girl of fourteen and catches the eye of King Henry the VIII. Dazzled by the king, Mary falls in love. Mary soon realizes that she is a pawn in her family's ambitious plots though and as the king's interest begins to wane, she is forced to step aside for her best friend and rival: her sister, Anne Boleyn.
