  • The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking is a family film based on the books of the adventurous little girl Pippi Longstocking from author Astrid Lindgren.

  • Movie Goofs

    1. When Pippi is jumping off the roof on the boat, she says "papa, catch me" and her lips don't move.
    2. When Pippi’s papa catches her after she jumps off the roof of the boat, he throws her back up and at the top of the screen you can briefly see the device lifting her up.
    3. After she tries to sell the sewing machine and she rushes around to the other door, you can see the door is green. When Pippi goes to open it she pulls it open, but when the camera view is from the inside the door opens again, but she is pushing it and it is not green, it is wooden.
    4. When Pippi is saving the little boy and girl out of the fire on the rope, you can see the plank she is walking on.
    5. When they are playing in the street with the children from the children's home, Pippi says "Come on kids, it's Pippi Longstocking day!" When the view changes we see her say it again but there is no sound.
    6. When the kids make the motorcycle jump you can see the wires holding the cycle up.
