The Munsters

The Munsters was a television sitcom revolving around a family of monsters who lived in the suburbs.

The mis-adventures of the Munster family is what this show was all about. With eclectic housing and furniture to strange habits amongst themselves, the family consists of several generations of monsters trying to fit in with modern American society, circa the 1960s. The only normal member of the household was the daughter, Marilyn. Despite her normal appearance and demeanor, the family felt sorry for her, because in their eyes she was anything but normal. The show received mostly good reviews and has even spawned a second series and several movies.
