The Moldy Peaches are a satirical anti-folk band from New York City comprised of primary members Adam Green and Kimya Dawson. With their signature Low-fi recordings and tongue in cheek songwriting style, the Peaches slowly built a large underground following through extensive touring and the release of a number of recordings on the Rough Trade label. Although the band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2002 (so that its members could pursue solo projects), the inclusion of their song "Anyone Else But You" on the Oscar-nominated film Juno brought a renewed interest in the band.
