Story

Gameplay
The Lord of the Rings: Conquest has been compared to 2005's Star Wars: Battlefront II—which Pandemic also designed—due to its similar game modes and focus on constant action.GameTrailers.com: TLotR E3 2008 Interview (Time: 3:34) In the game, players pick between four classes: Warrior, Archer, Scout and Mage. The combination of classes creates a "rock, paper, scissors" mechanic to balance the game. The player then takes their forces onto the battlefield, fighting other human players in multiplayer mode, or computer-controlled players in the single-player campaign.
