The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is a role-playing adventure video game.

You are Link who is living in a world on the brink of destruction. That world is Hyrule. Although you are but a shepherd, you get involved in the conflict. The twilight is an alternate reality where you discover your 'dark' self and can transform into a wolf. You must switch between your two forms in order to save both worlds from destruction and discovering the true power of the Twilight King.

You'll have the ability to ride on horseback, switch back and forth between your wolf form and human form, and ride on horseback. Controlling the wolf is similar to moving Link, however the wolf is much faster, can jump at will, an energy field that can destroy Shadow Beings, and sensory equipment (heightened sense of smell). Midna also becomes available in wolf form. There are various temples and dungeons to collect new items, solve puzzles, and fight bosses. The combat is in real-time with no random battles and you have many of the same weapons in this game as the previous Zelda games. To attack with your sword you shake the Wii Remote or shaking the Nunchuk for a spin attack. You can lock onto enemies with the Z trigger . There are also more advanced tactics, like spinning around to get behind them or using one of your items to make them vulnerable. You can also perform jumping attacks and use a shield attack. Projectile weapons such as the Gale Boomerang, the Slingshot, the Hookshot can be used through targeting with the pointer. There is also a plethora of minigames such as fishing as well as the combat-filled Cave of Ordeals.
