The Last Remnant Famitsu Review
The Last Remnant's system emphasized large-scale battles in which you control multiple parties of characters at the same time. Like you might find in a Final Fantasy game, battles are turn-based, with the player and the enemies alternating attacking and defending. In The Last Remnant, you control squads, or Unions, that you can command to attack, cast magic, use items and more. The entire Union will act as one.
