The Last Guy

The Last Guy is a top down rescue game for the PlayStation Network. The player must lead survivors of a mysterious zombie attack to prescribed escape zones inside satellite pictures of real world major cities. The game was developed and published by Sony Computer Entertainment and it was released in North America on August 28, 2008. The game is somewhat famous for its quirky "Hindustan Electronics Co., Ltd." interview videos.

Story

A mysterious zombie infestation is plaguing Earth, and only the United Rescue Force of the Himalayas can save the survivors. The U.R.F. sends The Last Guy to round up survivors and bring them back to the escape zone where a U.R.F. ship will pick them up.

Gameplay

The player controls "The Last Guy" in order to lead survivors of the zombie attack throughout real world cities to an escape zone. The game challenges the player by placing patrolling zombies of different kinds who all respond differently when they discover The Last Guy, potentially breaking up the long line of survivors that follows him around. All levels are completed by rescuing a certain number of survivors in a specified time limit.
