Tom Hanks stars as the leader of a group of criminals who believe they have planned the perfect heist in the Coen brothers' remake of the 1955 film The Ladykillers.
Plot Summary
Goldthwait Higginson Dorr III (Tom Hanks) believes he has assembled the perfect team of experts to pull off the crime of the century. Dorr and his cronies rent out a pious old lady's cellar, from which they plan to tunnel into a casino vault. However, as the plan is put into action, Dorr realizes that his team of experts are anything but and the woman upstairs is not nearly as naive as he had hoped.
