Spinoff ?
- Warning: This section contains spoilers.
With the main plot of season six being the "Who Killed Jenny" storyline, the mystery has seemingly been spoiled by news of a potential spinoff. In a synopsis of the spinoff, details of the storyline has revealed that the series follows Alice Pieszecki (played by The L Word series regular Leisha Hailey) and her experiences in prison. Although it's unclear whether the character of Alice actually kills Jenny, it appears that she may at least take the blame for the death. Alice's motive for potentially killing Jenny in season six was that Jenny stole a movie idea from Alice, which cost an unemployed Alice, a hefty paycheck . The spinoff series is said to be of a drastically different tone than The L Word. With the new series being more dramatic and darker in tone.BandC: Reveals Details on L Word Spin-off (January 14,2 009)
