  • The Knife is an Electronic music duo from Sweden. The two members of the band are two siblings, Karin Dreijer Andersson and Olof Dreijer. The formed in 1999 in Stockholm, an are known for their anti-commercial views, rejection of mainstream media, and wearing bird-like masks when they appear in public. They have released three studio albums, all through their own record label Rabid Records. In 2006, they announced that the group would be on temporary hiatus at the end of their tour first and only tour.
  • Studio History

    The Knife released their debut album in 2001, entitled The Knife. It has gone triple platinum. Their follow up, Deep Cuts, was released in 2003. Their third album, Silent Shout, was released in 2006 and was the #1 best selling album in Sweden. They also produced the soundtrack for the film, Hannah med H in 2003. They released all of these through their record label, Rabid Records.
